Hi, my name is Kristen Sheley, and this is my web page on the Back to the Future film series. In creating this page, I hope to supply other Future fans out there with things on this beloved trilogy that they may not find anywhere else -- including rare pictures, little-known information, and original photographs, essays, and fan fiction!

Still cranking along on Draft 1 of PIT5, which is...eh, I'd guess about 3/4ths done. I am hoping to get the first draft wrapped in the summer so my Betas can then take the wheel for a bit. I've discovered that I really, truly must write a bit every day or I tend to feel cranky and disconnected from the whole story. This is lame.
I've had a busy spring -- I went to L.A. two weeks ago for fannish bonding, and I was in San Francisco last Friday to see my longtime favorite actor Michael J. Fox be interviewed (!!!!!) -- and the fun will continue in the summer. I'll be making my first trip out of the U.S. in July to spend two weeks in England visiting my brother and his wife. I'm way excited -- the history geek in me is already making a list of places I want to check out! Also, this is a great excuse to do some scouting research for a forthcoming PIT book that involves Elizabethean England. I'm not sure how much that will curtail writing, however. To make things more interesting, my summer vacation this year is extra short (7 weeks) as my district is going to begin earlier in August so we will finish next year in late May.
HVC6 is pretty much paused until the first draft of PIT5 is done and I'll have time to kill waiting for Beta feedback...and that may happen in Summer 2009. However, a "sneak peek" is now up here.

One can also order it online OR go in the store and pick up an actual physical copy at Powell's Books, in Portland, Oregon. If you've read the story, I encourage you to leave feedback in the form of a review at one of the above websites!

Back to the Future -- BTTF.COM: This website -- a.k.a. "BTTF.COM" -- is easily the most definitive webpage out there. Webmaster Stephen Clark offers rare photos, downloadable screenplays, up-to-the-minute news on BTTF and the stars, and BTTF merchandise. Make it your first stop if you're a fan, and you will not be disappointed.
BTTF -- The Movie: Universal Studios established an official website dedicated to BTTF to promote the DVDs. It has a lot of super-cool goodies -- the photos are my favorite aspect -- although I have huge doubts if it will ever really be updated.
The Back to the Future Tour: The webmaster of "The Big Waste of Space" has created a nifty website for anyone who has a yen to track down the real-life locations where BTTF was filmed. (I've used it myself when I've done similar self-tours with friends.)
Back to the Future: A Trilogy Chronology & Future Features: Future fan Keith Gow runs this well-researched and informative web site. Gow digs deep into the structure of the BTTF films, revealing in-jokes, nitty gritty details, notes on the music/dialog, points of interest, etc. Also located here is his column, "Future Features," which for a time was hosted by BTTF.COM.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation: My favorite actor Michael J. Fox has established own website with information on both the actor-turned-activitst as well as his foundation for Parkinson's research and ways you can help in the fight for a cure.
The Michael J. Fox Database: A regularly updated website that has the latest on what's going on with Fox, as well as photographs, links to other websites, reviews, etc.
SHADOWSTAR: The website of Mary Jean Holmes, which boasts not only BTTF fanfic, but fanfic for some other genres, as well as original symphonies and creations for "The Sims."
