BTTF FANFIX: BETWEEN THE LINES
This is sort of a sub-section to my BTTF fan fiction. All the stories below I wrote, but calling them "stories" might be too kind. These are a collection of little writing exercises I've done on and off over the years; vignettes or "hole fillers," I call 'em. Because, basically, that's what they are -- they are sort of my take on what happened "in between" things shown on screen with the films.

At this point, the "short" pieces are usually under 20,000 words -- so, no chapters -- and can be taken with a grain of salt. (In other words, this stuff is by no means "canon"; it's simply my theorizing and all that, using all the resources I have.) I suspect more will pop here from time to time, when boredom, inspiration, and free afternoons collide.

And, no, at this point I'm not asking submissions for this page. I'm getting pickier and pickier with quality of writing, now. But, who knows what the future may bring? I would, however, encourage people who are inspired to do things like this to write the things and post them up somewhere -- there are many places that offer homes for BTTF fanfics -- because people will no doubt want to read them.

The snippets below are arranged by film, in the chronological order they would happen in the two hour film (so to speak).

Back to the Future:

"Another One of These Damn Kids Jumped in Front of my Car!"
In which Sam Baines has a most unfortunate accident with a strangely attired kid....
"First Impressions"
In which Marty and Doc react to one another (and other things), during the first weekend in 1955....
"The Space Zombie From Planet Vulcan"
In which Marty and Doc hatch a plan to scare the living crap out of George....

Back to the Future Part II:

"The Easy Way"
In which Lorraine Tannen frets over her son, who has made a mysterious appearance in town....

Back to the Future Part III:

"Killing Time"
In which Marty gets to deal with the aftermath of Doc's fainting spell....
"The Other Great Mystery of the Universe"
In which Doc has to make an important choice between his first love -- and a girl....
"The New Invention"
In which Doc finishes his second time machine and decides a trip to the future is in order....
